Serpentine
2019
Boston, MA
Serpentine is a site specific public artwork commissioned by Boston Properties and designed for the Atrium at 100 Federal in Downtown Boston. The sculpture consists of eight individual hanging elements brought to life with projection-mapped animated art. The movement and color crossing all surfaces folds the individual elements together into a singular whole, creating a serpentine like form arcing through the large glass hall. This installation is designed to be viewed from three specific vantage points, each dramatically different and changing throughout the visitor’s work day. The lasting impression of the artwork becomes a collection of these many moments of one’s day.
Serpentine received an International Achievement Award from the IFAI.
